Urban Unveiled

Urban Unveiled is more than a wedding show; this evening of opulence is a chance to meet and mingle with the Urban Unveiled partners who can take your bridal vision and make it a reality while you enjoy fine wines, nibble on sumptuous cuisine, decadent cakes & other to-die-for desserts at Benaroya Hall in downtown Seattle. Throughout the evening incredible music sets the festive tone, there are give-aways, and an awe-inspiring fashion show by the legendary Luly Yang. The event is the brainchild of friends Jesse and Travis and a fun mention that my officemate Lisa will be a vendor this year.

Get Hitched Give Hope

Seattle's premier bridal giving event, Get Hitched Give Hope is back for its third year. Held at the acclaimed Four Seasons Hotel in downtown Seattle, the event is where you get gorgeous goods for your wedding by giving back. A swanky-cool cocktail party, the kind that gives you an excuse to buy new shoes, amazing appetizers, raffle and silent auction items donated from top wedding professionals. This event is near and dear to my heart as I helped found it with a group of amazing women in the wedding biz.

It seems as though cancer has touched the lives of everyone, in some way. This is why Get Hitched, Give Hope, a non-profit organization have chosen the Making Memories Foundation as their charity to support. 1 in 8 women will develop invasive breast cancer and 1 in 100 breast cancer cases are in men. Over 40,000 men and women will lose their lives to breast cancer this year in America alone; that's 40,000 wishes that we can help to grant. The family's first trip to Disneyworld. A long overdue family reunion. Their goal is to raise $50,000 to grant wishes for stage IV breast cancer patients and their families. The Making Memories Foundation creates the ability to grant personal wishes to patients in their last year. Read more about the foundation.

Here are just a few of the items you can bid on at the event...

wedding photography
delectable desserts
wedding florals
hair and makeup styling
jewelry
wedding videography
a band for your reception

Join the party and toast to this wonderful cause that celebrates life and love and the fabulous spirit of giving. It’s an evening not to be missed, where the most stylish way to give is to get. Do you have your party shoes on yet?
