Mountain Springs Lodge Wedding

Last June Erin and Michael were married at Mountain Springs Lodge, just outside the quaint Bavarian town of Leavenworth in Eastern Washington. I know my post is belated being that it was over a year ago but I received photos in the mail this week from their fabulous photographer Heidi Michelle and love this couple so much that I wanted to share their day. Erin and I actually went to high school together and I was honored to have been a part of her wedding.

From Seattle, the lodge is a beautiful scenic two hour drive away in the mountains. It was the perfect setting for Erin and Michael's family and friends to celebrate a weekend of festivities. Guests stayed at the lodges various log cabins and enjoyed hikes, golfing and roaming the sprawling property.

Bright pops of corals and oranges from the flowers to the bridesmaids dresses and vintage umbrellas accented the lush green surroundings. Mason jars holding candles hung from trees and lined the paths, globe lights were strung around the hex style tent, place cards were along the wooden fence on clothes lines, wild flower seed packets were tucked into each place setting and clay pots filled with an abundance of floral served as centerpieces.

Here are some of my favorite images that tell the story of their wedding...

  1. Wedding planning is an art. A wedding planner should take care of all the aspects of wedding from the bride and groom’s dress to banquet hall arrangements. Wedding arrangements should be very perfect from point of view of every quest.
