I am in love with this photo taken by Laurel McConnell of my dear couple, BreAnna and Jesse. Their wedding fell on a day full of mysterious clouds and a heat lightening storm atop the hills of Newcastle Golf Club. I will share more details soon.

Teal & Raspberry Wedding

Heather and Mathew had an intimate wedding celebration with a color palate of teal, chocolate brown and raspberry. Teal is a color I love but had not incorporated into a wedding design before. It all started earlier this year when Heather found gorgeous teal taffeta bridesmaid dresses with chocolate sashes and so our quest began! The lovely and talented Alexa Johnson of Fiore Blossoms created lush raspberry bouquets for the girls and reception centerpeices of tall cylinders with submerged cymbidium orchids, river rock and floating candles. Lots of candles which danced off the teal lamour table linens paired with chocolate lamour pocket fold napkins, ivory lamour chair covers and a chocolate lamour sash. Home Garden Wedding

Margo and Clayton were married over Labor Day Weekend in Seattle. They are such a fun and laid back couple and I so enjoyed planning their beautiful outdoor wedding. Margo and Clayton love nature and were able to create their wedding celebration at a friend's private garden. The garden with all it's trails and lush greenery kept guests exploring. Family friends grew organic floral for the bouquets and decor. Each guest table featured small bud vases hand picked at thrift stores filled with an assortment of colorful flowers. Margo grew her own wheat grass for the escort cards and clayton built and painted the wooden direction signs. Seasoned in Seattle provided an abundance of fresh local dishes and Jen's Desserts created a gorgeous cake with whole raspberry filling. Guests devoured the Theo Chocolates truffle bar later in the evening then warmed themselves by the crackling fire pit in between jumping in and out of the vintage photo booth.

A Country Location Wedding

Lindsay and Jake were married over 4th of July weekend at A Country Location nestled in the peaceful town of Arlington, Washington. Lindsay is a close family friend and I was honored to help with her initial wedding plans. Unfortunately I was unable to attend the wedding day as I was traveling to Napa Valley to be a bridesmaid in another friend's wedding (more to blog on that one!). Husband and wife photography team, Becky and Mike Bagdanoff captured the day perfectly and the gorgeous details that Lindsay worked so hard to plan!
